Two2cool Lubricants and Coolants
ISO 9001:2000 Contracted Suppliers
Two2cool lubricants and coolants was started in 2004 by Norman and Russell Clay. They worked on finding a solution to motor failures and overheating. Norman Clay worked with chemical engineers and found a solution that reduced oil temps and maintained an overall lower oil temperature for increased durability and power output over the length of the race. At first the product was not accepted, but after four years everyone that has used two2cool product are a dedicated customer. Adding our product to everything they own, from Generators, Towing Vehicles, to the most important vehicle, the one they race. In 2006 Norman Clay decided, instead of supplying a product that improves everyone’s oil products, that Two2cool would take all the testing data and oil analysis data and compare them and develop a superior oil line. By comparing the oils he was able to isolate the items which performed the best and discarded items that didn't’t work. Basically refining the best oils on the market to develop the Two2cool oil line, all while eliminating the cost of adding T2C to the oils. Two2cool Products are competitively priced and are the best oils on the market today.
What is Two2Cool, and why our lubricants work better!
What are lubricants trying to achieve, and how do we address it.
This section is designed to introduce you to our products and for you to get a better understanding of the specific qualities that our products allow you to take advantage of. We will attempt to explain how and what oils and additives “ the Do and Don’t Do's”. So, please take the time to read this in order to get a full understanding why Two2cool Lubricants and Coolants are the most advanced product available on the market today. Let’s start with some of the basics, Oil is a form of liquid used for lubrication by various types of internal combustion engines. While the main function is to lubricate moving parts, Clean, and inhibit corrosion. Oil is the best lubricant for friction producing machines, and that is proven that there is nothing better. Most oils share the same common "base" oil stocks, either conventional oil or synthetic based. Then depending on the manufacturer they will choose to add additional additive packages (add packs) to design an oil for a specific use and conditions. These are the differences in oils that are offered on the market today. Many manufactures use the same oil company that refine, mix, bottle and pack their oils for resale to the consumer. The differences are only the add packs in which they choose to apply for each specific product and use they are planning to market it too.
So, now that everyone is some what educated on the basics about oil and its limited sources, let us address the one item that is mostly overlooked by the big oil companies, mostly for reasons of increasing their bottom lines. First we must start with "What is really the enemy of Oil"? Well, that is simple as "heat". Almost all oils repel from heat and pressure, some at faster rates than others. When the temperatures of oils increase the viscosity rating decreases (thins). That is basic knowledge, but lets take a second and think about it in more detail; All engines have extensive parts that are moving at high rates of speed creating friction and generating heat. As temperatures increase in the engine the thinner the oil becomes and the faster the oil is repelled from parts. Which are the areas that need oil to lubricant due to the increased friction focused in those areas. Knowing this, you will have the following scenario;
We run lubricants, that gets thinner, and repels from the heat producing parts which are in need of lubricant and now are causing higher heat level and increasing friction on the parts that are in need of it? ……. Hmmmm that doesn't’t make sense now does it. This is the main reason why people add our additives to our competitors lubricants. That allow them to get close to ours lubricants and addresses the simple problems that our lubricant have been formulated to improve..
Two2Cool Lubricants featuring our T2C technology are engineered to supply a constant flow of the "lubrication" where it belongs; on the heat and friction producing parts inside your engine. This is what allows your engines to perform better and run cooler.
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS WHERE TWO2COOL LUBRICANTS ARE WORKING OVER TIME.
Wet clutch systems:
Any engine that houses a wet clutch imposes the biggest problem when it comes to high oil temps. The centrifugal forces of the spinning clutch are expelling the oil away from the friction and heat producing plates of the clutch. As the clutch components temperatures increases it is lowering the viscosity of the oil, thus the expelling of the oil will happen at a faster rate. During this situation of extreme heat and high RPM’s, the clutch temps start to become hotter than the flash point of the oil. This is actually causes the oil boil and expel from the components that are in need of lubrication and the cooling characteristics. A small vapor barrier begins to appear between the clutch and the oil itself this barrier cause the temperatures to raise above the flash point of the oil. Which in turn will result in warpage (blue area of the clutch) of clutch components and ultimately premature clutch material failure. In addition to this factor, when the rider is not in the transition stages of the clutch such as braking into a corner the oil will eventually quench the clutch instantly transferring this heat into the engine oil and finally into the entire engine and then trying to dissipate it into the coolant system. This causes the internal components of the engine to increase in temperature and expel more oil away from internal engines critical parts.Two2cool Lubricants excels in these harsh environments, by bombarding the clutch with heat transfer technology as soon as it starts to generate heat. Two2cool lubricants continue to lubricate and cool the clutch components thus limiting the damage to both clutch components and internal critical engine parts. When we just lower the clutch temps the average engines not only perform at higher levels, but also last longer. Once you cool the clutch oil, and then cool the engine oils, Coolant temps drop. If you add our Two2wet coolants to the bike in addition to our lubricants, You could see temperatures drop up to 75 degrees.
The Truth of Viscosity:
Everyone knows what an oils viscosity rating supposedly indicated on the label. The truth is in high oil temperature situations where the “Viscosity Index” is just as important. The viscosity index is an oils ability to resist thinning at high temps and thickening at low temps. Everyone who has ever changed their oil while its hot, knows it comes out thin, like water. This is a perfect example of exceeding the index. Just by using Two2cool additives to competitors lubricants which helps control the oil temperatures. You will achieve a much more stable Viscosity Index, This in return increases lubrication, of critical engine parts, and lowers overall engine heat, which make more power.
Two2cool Products are formulated to address these problems.
Air Entrapment (Foaming):
Oil foaming is generally caused from moisture contamination, cleaning solvents, and or poor oil reservoir designs. These problems allow air to be trapped into the oil. Contaminates tend to discolor the oil giving it a milky appearance and the bubbles will dissipate very slowly after the motor has stopped .Foaming of oil occurs when the oil is being mixed by rotating engine parts. Moisture in your oil is a catalyst for foaming, which in motocross is a normal problem due to weather conditions and simply by washing the bike. As the heat increases in your engines, currently available oils do not have the ability to resist foaming or it's ability do so is decreased due to user error or conditions. Since foam is more air than oil, it is the least efficient form of lubrication and heat transfer. Foaming situations in a wet clutch application and engines is a recipe for extreme oil temps and premature friction. When foaming occurs during extended high rpm runs on today’s engines it will sometimes create an extensive amount of foam that enters the vent tube and discharges oil from the engine.
With almost all 4 stroke engine today, they create high crankcase pressures during deceleration. These additional pressures can cause the foaming oil to be expelled out the vent tube at a higher rate causing major engine failures. In 2004, TY Davis was made a true believer after noticing almost no oil loss while using two2cool products during the 24 hr of Glenn Helen race in 2004. The simple fact that our products control this and allow more engine oil to be where it belongs. T2C products assure you that it is doing it's job when the engine is performing.
Oxidation:
Many tests have proven that oil oxidation will increase exponentially as temps get higher. Oil temps over 210 degrees will see an increased oxidation rate. Our tests have shown that both synthetic and petroleum oils are susceptible to oxidation. As petroleum oils oxidize they become either organic acids (which attack metals) or oxy hydrocarbons (which cause sludge). TWO2COOL Lubricants operate at lower temperature helping to resists oxidation situations longer.
Cylinder Friction:
Most modern plated cylinder bores on vehicles using aluminum engine blocks or aluminum cylinders are coated with a form of a composite nickel ceramic matrix. This looks much like a sponge under the microscope. These pores become filled with engine oil. When the heat inside the engine increases, especially at the top of the cylinder; these oils runs out of the pores and is scraped off by the ring and is burnt in the cylinder during the combustion process. This situation causes more friction and again more heat.
When Two2cool Lubricants are used in your engine, the results are less friction, extended entrapment of oil in cylinder bore. Our Lubricants will create a better ring seal and less oil to be burned in the combustion cycle. This simply makes more power and burns less oil. By using our Lubricants in combination with our coolants the results ; will lower your engine temps, and reduce friction, and produce more horsepower than any product being sold today.
So The Real Questions are:
Do you want longer engine durability?
Do you want to make more power due to less friction?
Do you want you engine to run cooler?
Do you want less oil loss?
Do you want to spend less money on repairs?
Can you really afford not to add this protection to your expensive vehicles? Two2cool Lubricants and Coolants cost the same as the competition but with that added performance and protection.
If you answered yes to these questions, then your only solution is to use Two2Cool Lubricants and Coolant in all your applications! Accept Nothing Less!
